How do I get connected, especially with fellow attendees?

What time do I need to be where?
Plan to arrive at the retreat center between 1:00pm – 3:00pm Friday May 31st AND plan to be fully present at the retreat until 3:00pm Monday June 3rd. These times are crucial to the full experience of the retreat. Please keep this in mind as you book your flights and arrange your carpools and/or rental cars. Be conscientious of traffic, potential delays, etc.
What airport should I fly into?
There are 3 airports we recommend flying into. SFO – San Francisco International Airport and OAK – Oakland International Airport are both in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area and are both approximately the same distance from the retreat center, approx. 110 miles, which is about a 3 hour drive. Santa Rosa Airport is much closer. It is approx. 40 miles from the retreat center. However, it is a very small airport so flights are pretty limited. It is imperative that you:
- arrive at the retreat center NO LATER than 3:00pm Friday May 31st
- AND plan to be fully present at the retreat until 3:00pm Monday June 3rd
These times are crucial to the full experience of the retreat. Please keep this in mind as you book your flights and arrange your carpools and/or rental cars. Be conscientious of traffic, potential delays, etc.
How do I arrange carpool?
How are the wifi and cell signals?
The cell and wifi signals are non-existent.
This retreat is a special time just for you! A time to connect, unwind, expand, express and dive in. No signal makes it even easier to unplug and connect to bigger things.
There is a phone at the retreat center for emergencies.
Some T-Mobile customers have some signal in one spot here and there.
There is no wifi, so be prepared and leave the extra devices at home.
Where is the retreat held?
NextGEN Retreat is held at Black Mountain Retreat Center in Cazadero, CA.

What should I pack?

- Sacred object for the community altar
- Water bottle
- Yoga Mat (if possible)
- Bedding and Towel
- Drum (if possible)
- Necessary props/instruments for our Sacred Theater

International? From what countries?
So far we have had attendees from USA and Canada.
Ukraine is with us in spirit, but won’t be attending in person this year, to our knowledge.
Do you know anyone in any other countries that could benefit from a sacred weekend with like-minded people? Let them know they are welcome too!
How many attendees attend NextGEN Retreat each year?
For the 2015 and 2017 retreats we averaged about 35 attendees. For the 2018 we had around 42 attendees. For 2019 the cap is 50 attendees.
